I realized something new on the course today.

In the past, I used to think, “They’re a bit too noisy.”

Maybe… they just don’t have many chances to talk like this in daily life.
Especially with golf—if you love the game, you want to share it.
But finding someone who truly enjoys talking about golf isn’t always easy.
So the course becomes their space.
A place where they can finally speak freely.
Then there’s another type of player.
The one who plays the best…
yet complains the most.
“Ah… why did I do that?”
“Again? Seriously?”
They keep talking, keep reacting, even to small mistakes.
And somehow… it feels a little cute.
It’s like they are not blaming the game,
but gently talking to themselves—trying to process, release, and move on.
On the other hand,
there are people who stay completely quiet.
They don’t say much.
They just walk, think, and keep everything inside.
At first glance, they seem calm and strong.
But sometimes, I feel like those are the ones holding more inside.
So I started to think:
Maybe people who talk a lot are not “noisy,”
but actually softer and more open.
And those who say nothing
might be carrying more than we can see.
Of course…
when someone talks too much, my head gets a little tired too 😄
But even then, I try to see it differently now.
Because in a group of four,
the one who talks the most is often the one playing the best.
And when that happens,
I just smile and say something simple:
“I wish I could hit shots like you 😊
Mistakes happen… so maybe stop complaining a little.”
Just one light sentence.
It softens the mood,
lifts the energy,
and reminds us why we’re here.
Golf is no longer just about the swing for me.
It’s about people.
Voices.
Emotions.
And the invisible stories behind them.
