Concentration and Sincerity - 집중과 진심 어린 태도

There is a certain feeling people can sense

before results are even visible.

Sometimes, before a golfer swings,
others already say,

“You look like you play really well.”

It always makes me smile a little.

Because honestly,
I am not especially tall.
Not especially athletic.
Nothing outwardly extraordinary.

And there were even periods
when my swing was not good at all.

But looking back now,
I think people were not reacting to my golf technique alone.

They were reacting to concentration.
And sincerity.

When I play golf,
I enjoy the round.
I laugh.
I say “Nice shot!” sincerely to others.

But somewhere inside,
I am always paying attention to my own rhythm.

My golf.
My swing.
My direction.

Not in a selfish way.

Just… carefully.

Because golf, to me, was never only about hitting a ball.

It became a way of showing how I live.

Even when nobody notices,
I still try to make an honest swing.

Even after bad shots,
I still walk back to the ball with respect.

Even during difficult periods in life,
I tried not to completely lose my direction.

I think people quietly feel those things.

Not because I explain it,
but because sincerity eventually appears through posture, timing, tone, and energy.

Real concentration has a different texture.

It is calm.
Not loud.

And real sincerity has a strange power too.

It moves people
without trying to impress them.

Over time, I realized something important:

People may forget scores.
They may forget specific words.

But they rarely forget
the feeling of someone who was genuinely present.

Maybe that is true not only in golf,
but in life itself.

KR Summary
