Sometimes, I Learn More From Other People’s Swings - 모든 골퍼들의 스윙에서 배우는 요즘의 나^^

There was a time when I went to the driving range with only one purpose:

To focus completely on my own swing.

I barely looked around.
If someone nearby had a strange swing,
I almost tried not to watch.

Maybe deep down,
my own swing still wasn’t fully stable yet.

I worried that if I watched too much,
I might lose my rhythm,
my confidence,
or become confused again.

So I kept my eyes mostly on myself.

But recently, something has changed.

Now, between shots,
I stretch quietly and sometimes look around at other golfers.

And interestingly,
I’ve started learning from them too.

Many people swing with so much tension.

Too much force.
Too much effort.
Too much trying.

You can almost feel the frustration in the movement.

Then once in a while,
there is one person.

Not flashy.
Not violent.
Just calm.

The ball sound is different.
The tempo looks easy.
The swing feels effortless.

And without realizing it,
I quietly learn something again.

Not only from the good swings,
but also from the uncomfortable ones.

Sometimes I watch and think:

“Ah… too much upper body.”
“Too much tension.”
“Too much hurry.”

And strangely,
those moments help my own swing become simpler again.

The interesting part is this:

Now I can observe those swings
without losing my own rhythm.

I think that means my swing has finally started becoming my own.

Not perfect.
But stable enough not to be shaken so easily anymore.

Maybe life is similar.

Since I was young,
I often learned in two ways:

From admirable people,
I learned what I wanted to become.

From uncomfortable behaviors,
I learned what I should avoid becoming.

And these days,
that same quiet learning process seems to be appearing in golf too.

Not through judgment.
Not through criticism.

Just observation.
Awareness.
And calm reflection.

Today, once again,
I feel thankful for this small sense of inner ease.

KR Summary
