A Quiet, Lucky Day with Rich & Ruby — and a Little Golf /조용한 하루의 행복
This morning started with a long one-hour walk as usual.
The air felt calm, and both Rich and Ruby moved at their own pace—
Rich exploring the outside world with confidence,
and Ruby staying close, as always.
After we came back, I spent nearly two hours cleaning around the house with water.
It felt like a small workout, but also refreshing—like resetting my space.
Almost like a slow warm-up before a round of golf.
And then, something unexpected.
There was no rain in the forecast,
but just after I finished cleaning and sat down to eat,
the rain began to fall.
Perfect timing.
It felt like one of those golf moments—
when you don’t force anything,
but things just seem to work out.
The rest of the day slowed down.
Rich stayed outside, resting comfortably in his dry spot,
watching the rain in his own peaceful way.
Whenever I passed by, he rolled over and showed his belly—
his simple way of asking for connection.
Ruby stayed inside, of course.
Always near me.
Even when I moved, she followed—
sometimes all the way to the door, just to make sure I was still there.
We spent most of the day like that—
them resting, me working on my computer in the middle of the living room,
each of us in our own space, but still together.
And somewhere in that quiet rhythm,
I thought about golf.
The best rounds are not the ones where you try too hard.
They are the ones where:
- your swing feels natural
- you can clearly see the ball
- and you finish without tension
Just like today.
Nothing forced.
Nothing dramatic.
Just small, connected moments.
A simple day,
but a very good one—
in life, and in golf.
