Today Wasn't About Golf. It Was a Picnic. 😂⛳ - 오늘은 골프가 아니라 피크닉

이미지
Today, I played a round at Plaza CC Jeju . But honestly, golf was not easy today. It was extremely hot, and although I had played this course once before, I played in heavy fog that day, so I barely remembered the course. My friends were also playing the course for almost the first time. The course was challenging, and because of the heat, I couldn't really focus on my swing. So, hole after hole, we kept shouting: “Double!” “Double again!” 😂 Near the end of the front nine, one of my friends suddenly said: “For us, a double is a par. And a bogey is a birdie!” We all looked at each other with serious faces for a moment… Then we burst out laughing. 😂😂😂 So I shouted, “Okay! Let's call a double a par today! We came all the way here, so let's stop worrying about golf. Let's just pretend we're here for a picnic and enjoy the day!” And something funny happened. The whole atmosphere changed. A few minutes later, our caddie suddenly said, “I'll make you some iced cof...

Finding My Way Back to Myself 🌿

이미지
When I was younger, I made plenty of mistakes. Some decisions turned out to be the wrong ones. Some paths led me somewhere I never wanted to be. I wish I could say I always made wise choices. I didn't. Life taught me through trial and error. Looking back, however, I don't regret those years. They helped me discover who I really am. Every wrong turn taught me something. Not only about life... But also about myself. One thing I'm grateful for is this. Whenever I realized I was walking in the wrong direction, I didn't stay there for long. I stopped. I changed direction. And I found my way back to myself. I have seen people continue down a path they already know isn't right. Sometimes because they are afraid. Sometimes because they have already invested too much time. Sometimes because changing direction feels like failure. But I have learned something different. Changing direction is not failure. Sometimes it is the bravest decision we can make. Today, my life feels pe...

Balance Matters More Than Having More and Better.- 균형은 더많이, 더좋은것을 가지는것보다 중요하다.

Financial stability is important. Mental stability is important too. But I do not believe that having more money automatically makes people happier. I think happiness depends more on how a person manages life internally. In my case, if I have more, I spend a little more. If I have less, I naturally spend less too. Of course, this only works when there is no serious debt and basic financial stability exists first. Balance has always been more important to me  than simply having more and better. Even when I was young, I spent most of my time working because I genuinely liked working. Of course, work brings stress sometimes, but I still enjoyed being productive. Because I stayed busy, I did not spend money carelessly. Instead, I had more opportunities to save naturally. I think diligent people often worry less about the basics of life. Not because life is easy, but because steady habits quietly protect them over time. Golf taught me something similar. I love golf, but I also know how ...

After Round 2, he immediately went back to the practice area, even with everyone watching. Today, he bounced back strongly. Min Woo Lee also recovered nicely after a difficult second round and moved back toward the Top 10. Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim are still in the mix, too. And Robert MacIntyre had an incredible round, shooting 7-under par today . Although his tee time was listed as a solo pairing, he actually played alongside the club champion, who adjusted his pace to match the professional's rh...

I Never Dreamed of Becoming Powerful.- 강한 사람이 되고 싶었던 것이 아니다,

이미지
I Dreamed of Becoming Capable Enough to Protect My Own Life and Kind Enough to Help Others Along the Way. When I was younger, I worked hard. Like many people, I wanted to succeed. I wanted to learn, grow, and become better at what I did. Over the years, I worked in different roles, met different people, and experienced different challenges. Looking back, however, I realize something important. I never dreamed of becoming powerful. I was not chasing status for its own sake. I was not trying to become someone important. What I truly wanted was much simpler. I wanted to become capable enough to protect my own life. I wanted the freedom that comes from competence. The ability to solve problems. The confidence to stand on my own feet. The wisdom to make decisions without constantly depending on others. Perhaps that was why I worked so hard during those years. Not because I wanted power. But because I wanted independence. Today, my life looks much quieter. I spend time with my two dogs. I pl...

2026 PGA TOUR Championship 2R Result - Cameron Young’s Solo 62, Scottie’s Work Ethic, and What Golf Keeps Teaching Me ⛳️

The second round of the 2026 TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club is over. And what a day it was! The leaderboard changed dramatically, but more than the scores, a few moments really caught my attention. ⛳️ Cameron Young — What a Day! Cameron Young was the first player to tee off this morning — all by himself. No playing partner. Just Cameron Young and his golf. And he shot an incredible 8-under 62 . Even more impressive, he finished his round with an eagle on the 18th hole . After making the eagle, he jokingly shook hands with his imaginary playing partner. 😂 I watched that moment, and he looked so relaxed. No partner. No pressure. Just golf. Starting the day at even par, Young moved all the way up to T5 at 8-under par . Sometimes golf gives us the most interesting stories when we least expect them. ⛳️ Ryan Gerard Takes the Lead Ryan Gerard played another excellent round and finished at 10-under par , taking the solo lead after 36 holes. Behind him: T2 Viktor Hovland — -9 T2 Coll...

Why Ideas Keep Coming About Golf, English, and Life? - 왜 나는 골프, 영어, 그리고 삶에 대한 이야기를 계속 써 내려갈 수 있을까?

이미지
Sometimes, I ask myself this question.  Why do new ideas keep coming to me?  Why can I continue writing story after story—about golf, English, and life—without feeling empty?  I think I finally understand the answer.  It is not because I am trying to create something new.  It is because I am revisiting something old.  The thoughts I write about today were not formed yesterday.  Many of them have been quietly growing inside me for decades.  Since my twenties, I have spent a great deal of time thinking about life.  When life felt difficult, I often asked myself: What is life really about?   I read many philosophers, hoping to find a clear answer.   But in the end, I realized something simple:  Even philosophers do not have a final answer. Perhaps the best we can do is this: To live fully.  To enjoy the present. To stay curious and grateful.  That may be enough. Looking back, I also realize something else....

Min Woo Lee Takes the Lead at the 2026 PGA TOUR Championship 1 Round— What a Start! (Aug 27-30)

2026 TOUR Championship – Round 1 East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta The first round of the 2026 TOUR Championship is officially in the books, and what a surprise at the top! Min Woo Lee is leading the field at 8-under par with a stunning 62. And he did it without a single bogey. Eight birdies. Zero bogeys. A career-low tying 62 . Not a bad way to make your TOUR Championship debut. 😊 Min Woo Lee, the 28-year-old Australian, entered the tournament ranked No. 21 in the FedExCup standings and is playing in the TOUR Championship for the first time. Even more interesting? He was playing solo for most of the round after his playing partner, J.J. Spaun, withdrew because of a shoulder injury after four holes. And somehow, Lee just kept going. 8-under. 62. Bogey-free. That is a serious opening round. Meanwhile, World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler opened with a solid 4-under 66 . Scheffler didn't make a single bogey either, but Lee's eight-birdie performance put him four shots ahead after Round 1....

Flat Belly Achieved. Full Life Activated! - 배는 평평하게, 인생은 꽉 차게! 😂⛳️

이미지
I recently started a very important project. Project: Flat Belly. 😂 And there is actually a reason why I started it. Ever since I started my blog, I've been taking a lot more photos of myself. Golf photos. Walking photos. Everyday life photos. Pictures with friends. Pictures of me doing all kinds of things. And when I started looking at all those photos… I noticed my belly. 😂 Not in the mirror. In the photos. Apparently, cameras are much more honest than mirrors. 🤣 At first, I thought, “Hmm… maybe it's just the angle.” Then another photo. And another. And another. Okay. Maybe it isn't the angle. 😂 So I decided to do something about it. I'm giving myself about six months to work on my posture and gradually make my belly flatter. I'm not adding another workout to my already busy routine. I already play golf, swim, walk my dogs, and stay active in my everyday life. Instead, I'm paying more attention to my posture and the way I use my body throughout the day....
