One Swing Philosophy — What Golf Taught Me About Life

I have always thought Sung Hyun Park was a special golfer. There is something about her that is hard to explain. Maybe it is her powerful swing. Maybe it is the way she walks onto the tee. Or maybe it is simply the quiet confidence she carries with her. She has a kind of charisma that naturally draws people in. There was a time when Sung Hyun Park seemed almost unstoppable. She won seven times on the KLPGA Tour in 2016. Then, in her first full LPGA season in 2017, she won the U.S. Women's Open, became Rookie of the Year, and shared the Player of the Year award. She went on to win another major championship at the 2018 KPMG Women's PGA Championship and reached World No. 1. That was the Sung Hyun Park I remember. Powerful. Fearless. And somehow, very cool. Golf, however, is a long journey. Even great players go through difficult stretches. Sometimes the swing disappears. Sometimes confidence becomes quiet. And sometimes a golfer simply has to find her way back. Now she is playing...

Lately, I have been watching more golf and suddenly became curious. I know the LPGA, but what exactly is the LET? And what is LETAS? I especially noticed the Ladies European Tour (LET) . The name says “European,” but the players travel all over the world — not only Europe, but also Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and other parts of the world. So I decided to study it for myself. Players we often see on television, such as Nelly Korda Lydia Ko Hyo Joo Kim Jeeno Thitikul Minjee Lee compete on the LPGA Tour. 2. LET — Ladies European Tour So, what is the LET ? LET...

There is a golfer I especially enjoy watching. Her name is Hyo Joo Kim . And this October, I have two good reasons to watch golf in Korea. Hyo Joo Kim will be playing in both. The first one is the Aramco Korea Championship this week. Then, later this month, the BMW Ladies Championship will be held in Korea. I already know which player I will be watching. Hyo Joo Kim. A Special Tournament for Hyo Joo The 2026 Aramco Korea Championship will be held from October 8 to 11 at New Korea Country Club. It is not a KLPGA Tour event. It is a Ladies European Tour event and part of the PIF Global Series. But this tournament is especially interesting for Hyo Joo Kim. She won it in 2024. Then she won it again in 2025. Now she is back in 2026, trying to win it for the third time in a row. A three-peat. That makes this week's tournament even more interesting to me. I like these kinds of golf stories. Not only the world rankings or prize money, but the stories that build up between a player and a ...
