Every Day Is Different in Golf and in Life.
People often say that daily life is repetitive.
Wake up.
Eat.
Work.
Exercise.
Sleep.
And then do it all again tomorrow.
At first glance, it seems true.
But the older I get, the more I realize that no two days are exactly the same.
Today, I met a cheerful little girl at the swimming pool.
Yesterday, I was thinking about Ruby.
A few days ago, I returned to the driving range after a long break.
The routine may look familiar, but the moments inside it are always changing.
Golf taught me the same lesson.
Every golfer tries to repeat the same swing.
Yet every round is different.
The body feels different.
The weather is different.
The mind is different.
Even when the swing looks the same, the shot is never exactly the same.
Life works that way, too.
The beauty of life is not found in dramatic events.
It is often hidden inside small differences that most people overlook.
A conversation.
A smile.
A new thought.
A quiet realization.
Perhaps that is why I still enjoy ordinary days.
They are never as ordinary as they seem.
Every day looks similar from a distance.
But when we pay attention, every day tells a slightly different story in golf and in life.
KR Version
