Writing My Way to Peace -

It rained all day today.

The air was heavy with fog and humidity, so instead of going out, I stayed home and got some work done. I have a golf round planned with my friends on Monday. The forecast says it may rain again, but honestly, I don't worry too much about it.

These days, simply having a golf appointment on my calendar is enough to make me look forward to the week.

I try to play at least one round every week.

Not because golf is as exciting as it used to be, but because it gives my life a healthy rhythm. It keeps me physically active, refreshes my mind, and reminds me to enjoy ordinary days.

When I was younger, I was always searching for something extraordinary.

I expected more from golf.

I expected more from people.

And because my expectations were so high, disappointments often followed.

Looking back, I realize that many of those disappointments came not from other people, but from my own expectations.

Recently, I finally let go of the hope of finding that one perfect person.

Something unexpected happened.

Instead of feeling lonely, I felt peaceful.

It was as if my heart had been carrying a weight for many years without me even realizing it.

What surprises me even more is how much writing has changed me.

I started writing simply because I wanted to share my thoughts about golf and everyday life.

But little by little, something else began to happen.

Writing became a quiet conversation with myself.

Each story helped me see the bigger picture of my life.

Each reflection helped me understand myself a little better.

And the more clearly I understand myself, the more happiness and gratitude I find in ordinary days.

To be honest, I'm still surprised.

I never expected writing to have this kind of influence on my life.

Yet every time I sit down to write, I feel my mind becoming calmer and my heart becoming lighter.

It isn't just that I'm writing stories anymore.

The writing is quietly shaping me into a healthier and more peaceful person.

Perhaps that is the greatest gift writing has given me.

I thought I was writing about golf.

In the end, I was writing my way toward a more peaceful life.

I'm still a work in progress—in golf, in writing, and in life.

But these days, I truly enjoy the journey.

KR Summary
