Today, I watched Park Sung-hyun play golf, and what a finish it was on the 3 round!
On the 16th hole, she made a birdie.
Then came the 17th hole. An eagle!, two Eagles in a Row on the Same Hole!
The excitement was incredible. Her fan club cheered loudly, and I could feel their energy even through the TV.
I was so happy watching her tee off on the 18th hole that I even took a photo.
She made a bogey on the final hole, just missing the result we hoped for. Still, she finished the round at seven under par (-7).
Of course, I wished she could have finished with one more great shot. But that eagle on the 17th hole made the day special.
Golf is like that. One moment can make us feel disappointed, and the next can make us jump with joy.
Today, Park Sung-hyun gave me one of those unforgettable golf moments.

The Shot That Made Me Cheer Even Harder for Park Sung-hyun
The eagle on the 17th hole was not the only moment that impressed me today.
On the 14th hole of the third round, Park Sung-hyun found herself in trouble when her tee shot landed in a bunker. But she made an excellent recovery with an 8-iron, sending the ball close to the near green and saving par.
The gallery erupted in cheers. I was watching so anxiously that I found myself praying for her. What a shot! And what a par save!
Her eagle on the 17th was amazing, too. But the bunker shot on the 14th was the moment that made me cheer for her even harder.
Golf is not only about hitting great shots. It is also about finding a way out when things get difficult.
Today, Park Sung-hyun showed me exactly that.
Two Eagles in a Row on the Same Hole!
Park Sung-hyun made an eagle on the 17th hole in the second round. Then, in the third round, she did it again on the very same hole!
Her second eagle on the 17th hole made this achievement even more special. Based on the tournament records available to us, she recorded the tournament's first eagle in the first two rounds, with no other player making an eagle during that period.

오늘 박성현 선수의 3라운드 경기를 TV로 지켜봤다.
16번 홀에서 버디를 기록하더니, 17번 홀에서는 이글에 성공했다! (2라운드에서도 같은 홀에서이글)
와아아! 정말 짜릿한 순간이었다.
특히 박성현 선수의 팬클럽에서 터져 나오는 환호성이 정말 남달랐다. 선수의 멋진 플레이를 함께 기뻐하는 팬들의 마음이 TV를 통해서도 느껴졌다.
너무 기쁜 나머지 18번 홀에서 박성현 선수가 드라이버를 치는 순간에는 사진까지 찍었다.
마지막 18번 홀은 조금 차이로 보기. 아쉬움이 남았지만, 최종 성적은 7언더파(-7)로 마무리했다.
마지막 홀까지 좋은 결과로 끝났다면 더 좋았겠지만, 오늘의 하이라이트는 역시 17번 홀 이글이었다.
골프를 보다 보면 한순간에는 아쉬워하다가도, 다음 순간에는 환호하게 된다.
오늘 박성현 선수는 내게 그런 짜릿한 골프의 즐거움을 선물했다.

오늘 박성현 선수의 경기에서 내가 가장 감탄했던 순간은 17번 홀의 이글만이 아니었다.
3라운드 14번 홀. 드라이버 샷이 벙커에 빠지면서 어려운 상황을 맞았다. 그런데 박성현 선수는 8번 아이언으로 멋지게 벙커를 탈출했고, 공을 그린 가까이 올려놓으며 파 세이브에 성공했다.
갤러리들의 큰 환호가 터져 나왔다. 나 역시 화면을 보면서 얼마나 간절하게 기도했는지 모른다. 그리고 그 멋진 샷과 파 세이브에 정말 감탄했다.
물론 17번 홀의 이글도 대단했다. 하지만 오늘 내가 박성현 선수를 더욱 열렬히 응원하게 된 이유는 바로 14번 홀의 벙커샷이었다.
골프는 좋은 샷을 보여주는 경기이기도 하지만, 어려운 상황에서 어떻게 해결해 나가는지를 보여주는 경기이기도 하다.
오늘 박성현 선수는 내게 그 모습을 제대로 보여주었다.

박성현 프로의 이번 대회 기록에서 특히 눈에 띄는 장면이 있다.
바로 17번 홀(파5)에서 이틀 연속 이글을 기록했다는 사실이다.
2라운드에서 17번 홀 이글을 성공시킨 박성현 프로는 3라운드에서도 같은 홀에서 다시 한번 이글을 만들어 냈다.
더욱 특별한 점은 1,2,3 라운드 동안 대회 전체에서 기록된 이글이 박성현 프로의 한 번뿐이었다는 것이다. 다른 선수들의 이글이 없었다는 기록이 맞다면, 박성현 프로의 활약은 더욱 돋보인다.
그리고 3라운드에서 다시 이글을 추가하며 대회 통산 두 번째 이글까지 기록했다.

최종 결과에는 조금 아쉬움이 남더라도, 전체적인 샷감과 어려운 상황에서 보여준 트러블 샷까지 인상적이었다.
