The Day I Found My Swing Again -

Today was one of the happiest golf days I’ve had in the past few months.

When I arrived at the driving range, Hallasan was right there on my left, perfectly clear without a single cloud.

“Wow. Today is going to be a good day.”

I started practicing in a very good mood.

Today, I didn’t try to force my swing from the beginning.

For more than 20 minutes, I simply did some free swings.

I just let my body move naturally.

After my body felt warm and relaxed, I moved on to full swings.

This time, I focused on making solid contact with the ball.

I mainly practiced with my 8-iron, 4-hybrid, and 5-wood.

And then something really nice happened.

My 4-hybrid, which I had been struggling to hit well, suddenly started making solid contact.

“Wait… why am I hitting it so well today?”

I was so happy.

Maybe what I had been looking for wasn’t a perfect swing after all.

It wasn’t a swing created by force.

It wasn’t a swing built around repeating one particular movement over and over.

Maybe it was simply a swing that lets my body move comfortably.

And today, I think I found a little bit of that feeling.

Still, I didn’t keep hitting full shots just because things were going well.

I spent some time putting, too.

When I had about 20 minutes left, I moved on to some short-game and approach practice.

Then, with about 10 minutes still left, I decided to leave the range.

I wanted to take that good feeling home with me.

I don’t think a golf swing can be completed in one day.

Understanding something in your head doesn’t mean your body can immediately do it perfectly.

The body needs time to learn a new movement.

So I’m not going to rush anymore.

I won’t practice too much just because I had a good day today.

And if things feel a little different tomorrow, I won’t be disappointed either.

I’ll simply give my body time to remember.

Today, my 4-hybrid finally started behaving, and my full swing felt comfortable.

But more than anything, I had this thought:

“Ah… I think I’m finally finding my own swing.”

And that made me happy.

Today was one of the happiest golf days I’ve had in the past few months.

Today was the day I found my swing. 🏌️‍♀️❤️

And there was Hallasan, perfectly clear under a cloudless sky.

Today was simply a very good day. 🏔️⛳️

KR Version
